Choosing yourself can feel exciting… and a little nerve-wracking.
That’s normal.
The more clarity you have going into your session, the more you’ll be able to relax and lean into the experience. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know so you feel prepared, confident, and empowered from the moment you walk in.
You do not need modeling experience. You do not need to know how to pose. You just need to show up.

Hair and Makeup
If you're adding hair and makeup on come with a clean face and dry hair, one of my artists will do the rest! If you have a skin prep routine, it's okay to do it as you usually would.
If you're coming hair and makeup ready, wear it the way that makes you feel the most confident, even if that's none at all. I can do things like take away pimples, scars, harsh lines, dark under eyes or smooth the skin. Don't stress about the small details, I take care of that.
My Outfit suggestion...
For this session, I recommend keeping your look simple and effortless.
Think:
High-waisted jeans or a flowy skirt
Heels, boots, or barefoot
A bra, crop top, or fitted tank
Finished with a lightweight coverup or open layer
This combination photographs beautifully and gives us versatility. We can easily transform the look throughout your session — removing the coverup, kicking off the shoes, or even going topless with the bouquet for soft, natural coverage.
Simple pieces create the most powerful images.
If you’d love a second look — such as a dress or an additional skirt — we can absolutely incorporate that into your session as well. Just bring it along and we’ll decide together what works best.

Session Flow
Before your session, you’ll complete a short questionnaire so I can better customize your experience — from bouquet styling to overall vibe. If you have wardrobe questions at any point, you can text me. I’m here to make sure you feel confident and fully prepared before you ever step into my studio.
When you arrive, your favorite music will already be playing. I’ll welcome you in, show you the space, and introduce you to your bouquet. If you brought multiple outfit options, we’ll narrow it down together. You’ll have access to a private changing room so you feel completely comfortable.
Once you’re ready, we’ll begin.
I will demonstrate every pose before you step into it, so you always know exactly what I’m looking for. Then I’ll gently adjust and guide you from there. You will never be left wondering what to do with your hands.
Expect encouragement. Expect hype. Expect me showing you the back of the camera constantly — because I genuinely love what I do and get so excited creating with you.
After your session, you’ll leave with your bouquet in hand and your confidence just a little higher than when you walked in.
Within 6 weeks, you’ll receive your full gallery of professionally edited images — in both color and black & white — delivered through a downloadable online gallery.
And fair warning… most women start planning their next session before they even receive their photos. Keep an eye out for repeat client specials after your shoot.
